Euroleague Top-16. Friday games preview

gentileToday I have only one bet and it was sent to paid subscribers. But I will share my thoughts on other games.

CSKA – Olympiacos

V.Spanoulis and B.Petway trained with a team on Wednesday, but I was not able to find information about their status for this game. Seems that they are going to miss tonight game, but that’s not yet confirmed officialy.

CSKA for sure has better equipped team, but their level of game in last matches raised many questions. They showed character and two different halves last week in Nizhny Novgorod and it’s hard to predict what version of CSKA we will see on court today. The only thing I am sure about is – CSKA motivation to revenge Olympiacos for their losses.

Both teams needs a win here to get home court advantage in playoffs. In my eyes, CSKA is clear favorite to win, but I see no reasons to back them at this price. The only reason to back CSKA is Olympiacos, which covered spread in 3 consecutive away games, but there is no value in current odds.

I like under 159 here, but would like to see 163+ line to bet on total before the game. It’s better to way for in-play offers and take under in case of high scoring first half.

Efes Pilsen – EA7 Milano

Milan is officialy out of playoffs run after yesterday Laboral victory over Fenerbahce. Efes must win this game to pursuit Laboral in the standings and put pressure on them in Malaga next week.

For me Efes is slightly better team than Milan, especially now with Krstic under the rim. And I fully agree with spread, which bookmakers set for this game. No value to back either side here. Bookies did a good job here.
