Lietuvos Rytas – Laboral Kutxa
Seems that Lietuvos Rytas starting to cool off after great season start. They were looking bad last week against Lokomotiv Kuban and was not able to compete against Unics this Sunday when they lost another match in VTB league.
There were a lot of talks about fatique and difficult schedule but more important fact for me is that Rytas main guns Gecevicius and Seibutis stopped to overperform. Both were with Lithuanian NT this summer and logically sooner or later that should affect their game. But more important for me is that Rytas this season has relatively weak roster for Euroleague.
Laboral on other side has many injuries within their roster. Today Hamilton, Kelati will not play due the injuries. San Emeterio travelled with a team as captain but according to coach he will not play. But usually injured players don’t travel with team, so don’t be surprised to see San Eme warming up today with a team. San Emeterio is only players who has not be compensated. Kelati has been replaced with Kaukenas, Hamilton will be replaced with Mainoldi who played first game this weekend + new signing M.Bjelica will be avaiable tonight too.
Laboral bench (Van Oostrum, Huertel, Kaukenas, Mainoldi, Jelinek) looks much stronger than Rytas, where Babrauskas, Lydeka, Tepic and Jelovac steps to the court. Rytas offense is not at the same level as it was few weeks ago and this could be a big problem, because offensively Laboral is very dangerous team. They ALL can hit 3-pointers (except Pleiss), they can run, they can score, take offensive rebounds + they have Noccioni and Hodges who can be difference makers in such games like this.
Normally, full Laboral should be small favorite in Vilnius. I can agree with level line or Rytas being small favorite. But looking into the fact that Rytas is playing 3rd game in 6 days and their form under big question, I must go against Rytas this evening.
Pick: Laboral (+4) @ 1.90 4/10 William Hill
Pick: R.Seibutis under 11.5 @ 1.85 3/10 Bet365
