Panathinaikos – Lokomotiv
First reason why I am going to take PAO here is that I don’t see these team on the same quality level, as bookmakers do looking to the odds set. Panathinaikos has more quality and experience on their side, plus they will seek for ways to win by 11+ points and Loko will be happy with everything below this margin. Important news that came from Russia is A.Randolph return. He will be registered for this game, but I have big doubts about his conditions to play in such game after long absence.
Second reason to take PAO here is Loko ATS record (5-0 at the moment). There were only few situations, when teams have covered spread line in 6+ games in a row in last 3 seasons.
We have 3 points value here and enough indicators to take this bet with low-medium stake.
Pick: Panathinaikos (-5.5) @ 1.92 Pinnacle
Brose – Unicaja
Both teams riding on streaks. Unicaja covered line in last 4 games, while Brose holds 5-0 ATS record after 5 games in Europe. Brose improved their bench by signing experienced Leon Radosevic (played for ALBA and arrived from Besiktas). I think it is good improvement for short bench of Brose Baskets. Unicaja comes to Bamberg after long road, but seems that after taking situation in the group under control (5-0 and 1st spot), they are starting to think about domestic championship where they just 3-3. This weekend they have tough schedule, because game in Andorra awaits them on Sunday afternoon..
Unicaja sure has deeper and better equiped roster. But class difference is not that big to put them as -4 favorite game in Germany. Bookies did their job fine here, because Brose is capable to surprise the world, but we still can’t overreact to their wins over weak Sassari and very bad looking Maccabi.. Unicaja is different level team and will take this game under their control if Brose would show their best basketball.
Total line is just fine here. I expect average pace here, but percentage should be on average level here.
