Many games tonight, but three I really liked, including the fascinating match between Thunder and the Spurs.
Oklahoma City Thunder – SA Spurs
There is little love lost between the two teams. Spurs have a chance to set franchise record for best start ever, but Thunder would like nothing more than not to allow just that.
This is very clearly home oriented series with the only road win in the last 10 games between the teams, was by the Thunder.
Both teams have really great match ups one against the other, but I would say that at home, Thunder should be bigger favorites than 2 points, which basically means almost PK line.
Charlotte Bobcats – Indiana Pacers
I honestly can’t see any special reason for Pacers to blow the Bobcats out of the building.
Obviously Charlotte are a very mediocre team that always can lose by double digits, but overall, they played decent this season, especially at home, despite the home loss to the Celtics.
8 points is just too much to give in such game, where you get decent home team, against superior team, but one that doesn’t have any special motivation.
I would set the line around 4.5 – 5 points only.
Minnesota Timberwolves – Denver Nuggets
Second worst bench in the league against second best bench in the league and we get 7 points line – too much if you ask me.
To be really clear favorites to win by double digits, you need first unit that can create a lead and second unit that can either maintain the lead or increase it.
Denver played a lot better lately, after really poor start of the season and I would claim that there is a very good chance for an even match or back door cover, with second unit of the Nuggets being more than capable to do comebacks when needed.
