No less than 13 games today and I will focus on two that I see some value in both.
Cleveland Cavaliers – Milwaukee Bucks
Cleveland has one of the better rosters in the East and I think that talent wise, they should easily fight for 3 – 5 places in the East.
But instead, they placed only 10th in the East and carry two games losing streak on their back.
But tonight, they play at home and face the worst team in the league by far, that comes to tonight’s game after a win.
Bucks have yet to win B2B this season and have 1 – 6 ATS record after a win as well.
Cleveland didn’t bring Deng in order to finish outside of the playoff race and watch Chicago that dumps talent and salary every chance they get, finishing ahead of them.
I fully expect Kyrie to justify his first ASG selection and prove his fans right and lead his team to a win.
A blowout is a probable outcome of this match.
Cleveland -7.5, 1.94 odds – 7 units play – Pinnacle
NY Knicks – Charlotte Bobcats
It’s hard to back the Knicks at the moment, especially since once again, this is a very streaky team, just like they were two seasons ago.
But there are few good reasons to back them today.
Charlotte won two in a row, just like before tonight’s game, 4 times this season. Trying to get third straight win, they are 1 – 3 both SU and ATS.
Knicks have two important missing players, Amare and Bargnani. I think that at least in the short run, those two injuries can do wonders for the Knicks. Bargnani is one of the worst defenders I have ever seen play. Not only in the NBA, but overall.
He has know idea how to play team defense and that’s really strange to see for a European player. They many times lack the athletics abilities, but have the basic fundamentals that Bargnani simply lacks.
As for Amare, his poor defense is known very well.
It’s not like I see too many good options for the Knicks on defense, from any big man on the bench, but I expect much more effort on defense from those deep bench guys, because three PF’s injured for the Knicks, give some deep bench guy a huge chance to shine (Taylor probably) and he should give everything he got.
On top of that, it becomes the old Knicks team. Melo as the leading scorer with a bunch of shooters surrounding him, but this time, Chandler should do decent job closing the paint.
Charlotte also play without Walker and overall, I think that -5.5 would have been much more accurate line here.
Knicks -3.5, 1.97 odds – 6 units play – Pinnacle
Best of luck everybody!!!
