A lot of games tonight, some very interesting, but I will focus on the most interesting game, between Warriors and Clippers and few other games as well.
Golden State Warriors – LA Clippers
Clippers lost last night and ended their streak and I see no reason why they should start another streak, this time, losing one.
Clippers are a decent team, but they are still very mediocre on the road, poor in B2B spots 2 – 4 ATS and have really struggled with the Warriors the last few times they met. In fact, Warriors covered all four games in 2012 between the teams, including a win in LA earlier this season. At home, the last three years, they are 4 – 1 SU and ATS wise.
I believe that Clippers will struggle mightily against Warriors style of play. CP3 likes a slow pace game, with total control of the game. GSW play very fast, they close the paint, run at three point shooters and have no problem shooting three pointers in a split of a second.
Don’t get me wrong, I won’t be shocked to see Clippers win here. They are a decent team, like I said. But, as I see it, unless Crawford explodes with 20+ points, Clippers will lose tonight again.
Warriors +2, 1.92 odds – 6 units play – Pinnacle
Oklahoma Thunder – New Jersey Nets
Teams met just a month ago and despite Nets trying to get rid of Johnson and despite Lopez being out, Thunder struggled a lot, before winning the game by 6 points only.
I don’t see any reason why it should be any different today. Westbrook has small injury in his eye, but he should play. So will Wallace after missing the game against the Spurs.
I feel that Wallace can do a decent job on Durant and while Westbrook should have the upper hand on struggling Williams, Lopez and Johnson have big value today.
As long as Nets can slow down the Thunder, they can not only cover, but win as well.
Nets +9.5, 1.98 odds – 6 units play – Pinnacle
Houston Rockets – New Orleans Hornets
Hornets match up Rockets really well. Lin and Vasquez both good PG, that play similar type of basketball and Harden and Gordon both shooters, though Harden in much better form of course. With Lopez and Asik canceling each other out, it will come down to Davis ability to contribute on offense and if Anderson’s three pointers will connect, Hornets can win this one I think.
The fact that the teams already played each other in Houston and Rockets struggled to win, winning by 4 points only, adds to the confidence.
Hornets +10, 1.92 odds – 6 units play – Pinnacle
Toronto -1, 1.85 odds – 6 units play – Expekt
Another bet that isn’t a system bet, but still first quarter bet:
Wolves to win first quarter – 2.15 odds – 5 units play – 5Dimes/ Bet365
Best of luck everybody!!!
