Had two tough nights, but hope to rebound tonight.
Phoenix Suns – LA Lakers
Simple math for me here. Lakers are 19 – 1 SU in the games where they scored 100+ points. So we can easily assume that if they win, they will score this number. On top of that, in half of the losses Lakers scored this number as well, so even if Lakers lose, they can still top this number.
Suns been playing much better lately and I expect them to show up for this huge game, after getting the rest they needed. Nash is back to face the team that gave him two MVP awards.
But, Lakers on the roll right now, playing good offense and decent defense and with this game staying close, even if Lakers struggle to go past the total given, free throws in the end of the game can put them above the total.
Lakers Over 102 points, 1.85 odds – 6 units play – Gamebookers
Brooklyn Nets – Miami Heat
I rate Brooklyn as second best team in the East and if I was sure that D-Will plays and plays well, it probably would have been bigger bet.
But as I see it, the Nets have a chance to prove themselves, playing against top team of their Conference, playing them at home, with healthy roster and after Nets lost twice to the Heat, after falling apart in the second half in both games.
Lopez is much complete and better player than Bosh and JJ is much better than Wade. Obviously LeBron is the best player in the East, but is it enough to be 3 points favorites against second best team in the Conference, that have yet to lose at home since coach changes?
I doubt it.
I think that Nets will make it a statement game or at least take it to the last seconds.

Minnesota Timberwolves – LA Clippers
Adelman is back. Pekovic and Shved as well. Teams played each other in Minnesota with the same rosters more or less and Clippers trashed the Wolves by 13 points. But, Adelman wasn’t with his team and I just feel that Wolves without Love are just as good as Clippers without CP3. I would make it much more even game, making Clippers not more than 2 points favorites or maybe even PK.
I like the fact that several Wolves players are in good form – Rubio, Kirilenko and Ridnour and with the return of Pekovic and Shved, Wolves got 6 – 7 players of really high caliber.
I believe that Wolves will win, but even if they lose, it should go down to a wire.
Wolves +5, 1.90 odds – 6 units play – Marathonbet
Utah Jazz – NO Hornets
Hornets in B2B, off a tough comeback attempt and now they have to fly to the thin air of Salt Lake City, to face one of the best home teams in the league, that just suffered their biggest loss in franchise history.
I can see Jazz pounding the ball inside and unless Hornets will connect three pointers at 40%, it will be a very heavy beating.
If shots will go in, Jazz should win this one still, but it can be 5 – 10 points win only.
All in all, I expect a very focused Jazz team that should handle Hornets on both ends of the floor.
Jazz -7, 1.90 odds – 6 units play – Pinnacle

Good luck everybody!!!
