We got a big card ahead of us tonight, so hope it will be a good one!
Indiana Pacers – Toronto Raptors
It’s not easy to go against Raptors at home, but I really like the way that Pacers are playing this season.
Hibbert should be back today and after tonight’s loss, I expect Pacers to win, especially after Raptors won twice this season in Indiana and Pacers in Toronto only once. 5 of the last 6 games between the teams, road team won. Pacers won the last three games in Canada. No reason for to change today.
Toronto got nothing to play for, Pacers should be angry and win.
Pacers -2, 1.97 odds – 7 units play – Pinnacle
Miami Heat – Memphis Grizzlies
Since LeBron and Bosh came to Miami, Memphis won SU and ATS 3 of the 4 meetings between the teams.
There is a reason for that. Look at Heat losses this season. One theme is recurring and that is losing to teams with strong front court. Gasol and Z-Bo are as strong front court as there are in this league.
Prince and Allen can check LeBron and Wade and limit them a bit.
Those are the hottest two teams in the league. Heat with 12 wins in a row, Memphis with “only” 8.
I have no doubt that both will be ready to ball tonight and that Heat won’t allow themselves to play as they did against Cleveland or Sacramento.
Still, 8 points here just too much against Memphis.
Don’t know who wins it, but 8 points should be enough for Memphis to hold on here.
Memphis +8, 1.98 odds – 5 units play – Pinnacle
Denver Nuggets – Oklahoma City Thunder
Thunder lately been crushing bad teams, but been struggling against good teams and I’m not sure they have what it takes to win Denver tonight.
I can add and point out that Thunder have a mega battle with Clippers on Sunday.
Teams met this season already and Denver won after OT.
Denver should have Galinari tonight and while Thunder usually handle revenge spots really well, I will roll with Denver that been playing really hard lately and I think they are trying to make a push for the 4th spot in the West.
Two points line actually adds to the confidence, since I really expect this game to go to the wire with both teams having a shot at the game in the final minute.
Denver +2, 1.88 odds – 6 units play – Pinnacle
Phoenix Suns – Atlanta Hawks
While I’m amazed by Suns two wins in a row, I still believe that despite H2H history, the resurging Hawks should really win this one. Suns already did their share, by winning two in a row, both after OT, at home against Wolves and shocker win in SA.
Hawks engaged in a fight for 2 – 6 spots in the East and play really great basketball at the moment with 4 wins in a row.
Since trade deadline passed, they are 4 – 0 and I think the two are connected.
Hawks have entire roster of ending contracts and now, with Smith saga ending with Josh staying on the team, players know that they can’t afford themselves to play badly.
They need to make a very good final third of the season in order to get decent contracts in the summer.
Hawsk -4, 1.98 odds – 6 units play – Pinnacle
Best of luck everybody!!!
