Pivotal Game 5 bet and one future bet are in store for us today.
Miami Heat – Indiana Pacers
Pacers so far stopped the Heat on 92, 93, 114 and 92 points in regulation time in this series.
On top of that, the 114 points Heat scored due to record breaking 70 points first half, while scoring only 43 points in second half.
They come close in each game, without a doubt to Game 5 total, but still, fall 4 – 5 points short and I expect it to be the case again in Game 5.
All 4 games in this series went Over the total mostly due to Pacers total, since they are 4 – 0 in favor of Over in this series so far, but Heat are 1 – 3 in favor of the Under so far and I don’t expect it to change.
As far as the line goes, it’s really a no brainer.
Pacers proved they can go toe to toe with the Heat and I honestly don’t expect a blow out here.
Heat can win by 20, but Pacers can win SU as well.
I expect very even game and maybe a huge upset even.
Heat Under 96 points, 1.91 odds – 7 units play – 5Dimes
Pacers +7.5, 1.96 odds – 7 units play – Pinnacle
SA Spurs NBA Champs – 3.25 odds – 10 units play – Bet365
Why SA Spurs? Why not?
Spurs are 4 – 0 in the Finals in Pop + Duncan era.
All of their titles came in uneven years and now it’s 2013.
More important, Parker and Timmy play their best basketball in the last 5 years and it appears that Spurs are absolutely focused in getting that NBA title, in what’s almost surely their last attempt with their big trio (Duncan/ Parker/ Ginobili).
They got great match ups against both Heat and Pacers as well.
Parker just destroyed Memphis – one of the two best defenses in the league, playing against two of the best defenders in the NBA, Allen and Conley – both in NBA defensive teams of the year (Allen in the first and Conley in the second team).
Duncan in great shape and should match up really well against both West and Bosh.
While Heat are struggling to get anyone else, but LeBron, to show up in the playoffs and injuries just pile up (Bosh, Chalmers, Wade – all suffered injuries in this playoffs), Spurs supporting cast is healthy and in great shape.
I can’t see who on Spurs roster can stop LeBron, but with really great match ups on all other Heat players, I’m absolutely trust Pop to find the solution to LeBron or make sure that no one but him, will show up and LeBron, despite being best player in the league, can’t win a machine like the Spurs on his own.
If Pacers will be in the Finals, we need to remember that Spurs will have HCA on them.
On top of that, Spurs proved against Memphis that they can play great defensive teams and more important, they can stop the Pacers around 85 points, number that I just can’t see Pacers holding the Spurs at.
Bottom line is simple here. Heat at home lost twice in this postseason already and struggled many times. Unlike Bulls or Pacers, I’m confident that Spurs can maintain home court against them and I can easily see series going to Miami with Heat trailing 2 – 3 and losing Game 6 or 7 (just like against Dallas two years ago) or Spurs coming back home against the Pacers after 5 games, leading 3 – 2 and closing the things in Game 6.
No matter how I look at it, Spurs should be around 2.4 odds here, not more than that and I can only say thank you for such huge odds on them and grab it while I can.
Best of luck everybody!!!
